Drosera sp Megaliesburg

I have had this plant in my collection for a few years now. I recently saw a plant called D. Nidiformis. The plants were identical in size, gland colouration and leaf shape. I was just wondering if the plant had had its name changed.

Yes. It's named Drosera nidiformis now.

Aahh, that explains it then. Thanks!

yea, very nice plant nidiformis is. Just recently, a bunmch of seeds sprouted..so i have some now. Very nice.

I have a nidiformis...I like it a lot. However it did have a bout of that fungus mentioned on the carnivorousplant.org page. Thankfully it has recovered and proven to be a fast grower. But it does seem to have a reputation for being difficult to grow.
