I agree with Tamlin.

Well I was driving all day yesterday to one of the greatest cp sites in the world, Green Swamp NC. So I missed this discussion. I'm still going to give my 2 cents even though it's late.
After reading what has been wrote I realized I open a big can of worms. I didn't intend to but maybe it needed to be opened.
When I said what I said I was half joking and it was half truth. I said Tamlin is the King of sundews. Remember I made that statement from my limited knowledge of sundew growers on this list and off this list. From what I knew at the time I suspected that Tamlin was the king. After reading what has been written by Tamlin and others I no longer suspect he is king. I thought about his knowledge, (he knows more about sundews than anyone I've ever talked to), His generosity, (I know nobody that has given more plants to more people than him).
I realized than a King should have the love and respect form his people. By reading the postings here it was proved that he has both.
You know Tamlin a great king also has modesty.
Your gifts and your kindness has created your kingdom.
Like I said I not longer suspect that you are the king, I now know it.
You may not be the best grower in the world, but you are the best that I know. You will rein until a contender comes forward. I saw no one on this list that even put his hat in the ring. Until that day arrives LONG LIVE THE KING
I know that you're asking yourself, He's in the Green Swamp and he's in front of a pc intsead of looking for plants.
I'm now leaving to find some plants
Amen to that Ozzy!
As I mentioned in a previous post I don't have any dews YET, I don't have much of anything for that matter (I'm working on it! What I do have though is a very large, very comprehensive collection of information on every cp I could find. Mostly it is a compilation of the tips and care info from this board and a few other sites. When I turn to the Dews section it quickly becomes apparant just by reading the quotes that Tamlin not only has extensive knowledge of these plants but passion for the subject, and is willing to share all of the above.
So Tamlin though you may not be the most knowledgable, or have the biggest collection, to us, you are infact "king of the dews" for your generosity and help if nothing else.
I typo, therefore I edit.
Well, if not "King of Dews", perhaps "Royal Scribe?" After all, what's more fun or educational than reading Tamlin's writing
Wasn't regia supposed to be the king of dews?
A flytrap ate my homework!
Perhaps Gaurdian of Dews is a better title. After all, of everyone here, I think Tamlin puts the most time and effort into ensuring that every little "baby growthing thing" has a chance to sprout. He gives them a chance at life, thats a big deal.
There is no item greater in value than life, for without life value would cease to exist.
My Grow List
We may have diffrent titles for it but it we all mean the same thing. Tamlin is the best that we know at growing sundews.
I believe "Steward" is the word. Tamlin is a gifted steward who wishes to share his knowledge and plants to let the circle grow ever larger. Just like a circle 'round the sun...
Well put to say "Let it grow, then let it go."
I think everyone here appreciates Tamlin's help and generosity and hopefully will in turn share with someone else when they can. And of course there are many more who share as well.
