D. auriculata

Hi i am get some D. auriculata seed from cooks and i was wondering if i have to do anything special for soruting these or do i sow them like other Drosera

Like most tuberous species, these prefer cool winter growing conditions and can be stubborn regarding germination in warmer temps. In all regards, be patient with this seed: I have had germination after a year wait with it! This particular species is flexible with these and other requirements, so you may or may not have success with a spring sowing. I generally sow my tuberous seed in late summer/early fall for winter growing, but I have had germination at other times as well. Hope this helps, and best of luck!
