Another B&Q special, they really do have some nice plants.

Any quick tips on growing - similar to VFT?

Cheers

Andy

In the UK we have a big hardware chain of DIY stores called B&Q.

Their CPs are great, Ive got a big VFT off them which is thriving, a sundew and a nepenthes for £3.98 which is about $6 USD I believe?

Im quite surprised at the quality/range considering they arent native to our country

Drosera capensis, The Cape Sundew, from South Africa is a non-dormant tropical. This easy grower can become a weed in collections. It's growing conditions are similar to those for Dionaea, excluding the dormancy requirements for the VFT.

its a capensis 'typical' due to the red tenticles. 'alba' has clear tenticles

Typical-red tenticles, typical capensis; has purple flowers
Alba-white tenticles, grows similar in size as typical; has white flower
narrow-can be ethier alba or typical, very small compact
