Byblis liniflora in lfs?

Can Byblis Liniflora be planted in a 2:1 sand:peat mix with a top dressing of LFS? If I were to use only the sand-peat mix by itself, the sand will usually turn green due to hot climate where I live (I think).

The green would most likely be algae caused by moisture, light and mineral content. If you spray the green areas with a fine mist it should "leech" the minerals out and rid you of the algae.

Lfs would probably be fine, I just don't know if you would want it up against the actual plant, may keep the stalk too wet? Not sure. Personally I used a top layer of milled sphagnum and that worked out fine.
