My dews are really slow when they eat an insect. They have been transplanted about 2 weeks ago. Do they just need to adjust?

Hi Dewd,
What do you mean by slow? The leaves move slowly over the prey, or they digest slowly? Can you give us a little more info to chew on?

Hmmmm, what do you mean by slow? The tentacle action in Drosera is not generally a snap-like response, but rather a slow (but effective&#33 response over time. Tentacle action is quicker in conditions of good light. Try D. burmannii, the outer tentacles are visably reponsive in this species.

I mean moving over the prey. I know dews are not the fastest cps, but my capensis is taking more than a day to fold over prey.

I wouldn't worry too much 'dewd, some of mine take all day to fold also.

Definately check out the Burmanii. They look like a kid with a fist full of candy when they have lunch!
