D. Intermedia 'Cuba'

I ask this question because my D. intermedia 'Cuba' plants have flowered about 8 times now, with average of 5 flowers per stalk. That's 40 flowers, for those who hate math. Now, I just watched a D. intermedia 'Cuba' flower open part of the way, and then close. It was never fully open! I sat there for a 30 minutes watching it, because I knew it closed quickly. Here is the largest the flower opened. Does anybody elses plants behave that way?

I believe some drosera tend to never fully open their flowers in an attempt to better self pollinate. When opened fully, the plant may require more energy to close the flower for self pollination, so it would seem ideal to only keep them slightly opened.
