I received this from a dear friend less than a week ago.

 I don't have much experience with pygmies so is it normal for the root to appear so long? I didn't see that with d.ericksoniae x pulchella...

Yes, the roots of pygmies are much longer than most other sundwews. I think what you have there, Cindy, is quite normal.

Cindy, Normal is a relative term. More often referred to as a growing habit. After all, what is "normal" in one case, is not "normal" in another of the same kind. But, there is one thing in a species that is a habit (trait) and generally called a growing habit.
