I just went outside today, moving all my plants while they tear down my deck, and noticed the D. echinoblastus in full flower action. I'd only ever seen one open before. These are big, showy orange flowers on this pygmy!
Yeah, I love this example of the orange flowering pygmys. I've had a few treats this spring as well, seeing D. platystigma, callistos and leucoblasta flowering with those intense shades of orange found in no other example of Drosera.
Enjoy! I am happy to know the plants are bringing pleasure, it makes the work of the gemmae season worthwhile.
