Seeds?

Okay, so I have my capensis flowering.. I cut off the stalks when it finished blooming all the flowers and put it in an envelope. 2 weeks later, I am looking about in there and rubbing the flowers in search of seeds.. and I dont think I have any....

Do they always flower and not produce seeds or am I just nuts?

Its possible you clipped the flower stalk too soon? I usually wait till all the flower pods turn brown and the lowermost ones start to burst open. Then I take the plant, hold the flowers over a plate and tap the seeds out. Then I wait another week and repeat.

D. capensis is usually such a prolific seed producer that you will soon be clipping the flower stalks as soon as you see them in order NOT to get seeds..  lol

What VFT Guy in San Juan said is 100 % correct. But I just wanted to confirm that you are nuts!

maybe you're confusing the seeds with debris from the stlaks?
