Hibernacula sundews

I've notcied that my binata, filiformis, and intermedia, which all formed hibernacula, have clumped clones. Is this a typical occurence?

Pretty much, yes. If you mean that they formed more than one hibernacula per plant or perhaps what would sometimes be considered gemmae (small basal buds/hibernacula around the main bud/hibernacula).

Interesting that your D. binata forms hibernacula at all. None of mine do. I have 4 different forms of D. binata and none of them form hibernacula at all.

The one I received is a Ca X Hi. It died back and looked dead & black, just like the filiformis. Maybe it should be classified differently, but I don't know. Anyways, it is alive and well, now.

Hey, I'm in your signature! How'd that happen?
