How do you tell if a paradoxa is dornmant? Mine hasn't grown for a while, all the leaves seems packed together and green compared to the other leaves that were red.
If it is dormant is there any special care needed?

The leaves tend to be more shorter and more compact when it is in its semi-dormant stage. The plant will continue to grow though and will produce longer leaves when it warms up. No special care is needed with this species, but some of the other petiolaris drosera species should be kept only moist.

    My "acid" test for dormancy:

If the plant begins to grow again = it was dormant.

If the plant does not ever grow again = it is dead or the equivalent.

    ------
I have had this species look dead. In my laziness I did not throw it out promptly. Good thing, it began growing vigorously again.
