Very nice. I have not seen a flower before. Wish I could grow it.

nepenthes gracilis ,

Beautiful flower, and well worth the wait. What sort of conditions are you growing D. slackii under?

thanks,
Brian

Hey everyone!

BrianW, I froze it to 15F once and ever since then it returned and grows happily. I find it is very touchy under high temperatures and can decline in health considerably, but generally returns in the fall once temperatures have cooled. It was doing great in the spring, and still is, but temperatures (now in the 80s with 70% humidity make the evaporative cooler useless and it can get quite hot in the greenhouse, I am a bit worried, but rain is supposedly on the way, so hopefully it will cool and the air will dry. Other than that, its in living sphagnum and gets alot of sunlight.
