The sundews pictured below were volunteers from a trade a few years ago.
This is in the spring after a late winter repotting. Even though it was setback from the repotting, it still had to flower... As I recall, the roots on this were very long and strong (but about 1/3 as thick as a D. capensis or D. binata).

And here's a larger sister plant growing where it doesn't get as much sun as the 1st one (apologies for focus).
