    Hi Everyone,
With the cool nights of winter many of our plants are showing winter colors. Pitchers are darker and more intense in color compared to their summer counterparts.

Here are a few example pics Michelle shot today in the greenhouse.
    N. mirabilis echinostoma normally during the summer these are red like a coccinea, but in winter they are almost black.

Fancy hybrid seedlings are showing rich colors too. Here's N. thorelii x trusmadiensis- can't wait to see this baby all grown up.

Here are 3 different seedlings of N. thorelii x truncata

This is one of our N. (northiana x veitchii) x Tiveyi. The spotting on the pitcher is more intense in winter. Some seedlings have red maxima/northiana-like spotting, while this seedling has more orange/coral/pink overtones.

Our gold/green N. veitchii lowland looks the same in both summer and winter.

    Enjoy the pics.

Nice pictures guys! All the plants I got from you are doing excellent. Can't wait to make it down your way again. Hopefully my N. veitchii will look like that soon.

Mmm... Nothing like pics of Nep pitchers on [very] early Sunday morning. I agree with the effect temperature has on colour.
    Thanks for sharing Trent!
