You're very meticulous with that toothpick! We take the male flower and physically rub it onto the sticky stigmatic surface of the female flower, making sure there is plenty of pollen grains sticking to her. One male flower will take care of several female flowers.

    Trent, dear Trent,
I don't know where you live...but for the moment I have to make in this way! the pollen has been sent to me with priority post!
Here in Italy it is rare having 2 nepenthes growing each near the other of different sex.
    Bye!!!

    Hi, Salvatore,
I don't want discourage you, but don't be too disappointed if your experiment is unsuccessful. Remember what was said at the start of the thread: the ventrata clone commonly found in garden centers and hardware stores is female, but sterile.
    Cheers,
    T.

After long time I got some seeds and I am testing their power to give seedlings...
Untill now I got after 30 days of waiting just one plant...let's hope and see for the next 28 days....
Here is a pic. I have used no growing ormones or fungicide....

Hey! Congrats! You have done better that I have, that's for sure. I can't even get the darn flowers to pollinate, despite rubbing copious amounts of pollen on them.

Congrats! Did you say you sowed the seed 30 days ago? Most of the seed should germinate at about the same time. I would expect lots more seedlings very soon or almost none at all. Keep us updated!
