How to know if...

Where did you get your N. belli from?
And how was it shipped?
I know that when I got my N. rafflesiana I was expecting to see a great decline in health and then maybe a pitcher or two like 3-4 months later. Actually after it arived the one small pitcher on it turned orange and died, but it started producing pitchers that same month. So it had a very quick recovery time. That also however might have been because of the way that it was shipped.
When I recieved it it was in it's pot and had a plastic cup over it. None of the leaves were damaged at all, and it's doing really well for me. However this is really my first lowland nep so I have no information on N. belli

i get my belliii from this place: http://www.blackjungle.com/carnivorousplants.html.

It was well paked, a regular size box, filled with the white foam beans, the plant was on a small pot, cover with a plastic cup... i get if on last days of Jan so it comes with a heat pad to prevent get frozen... on general the plant was really well shiped, and in really good condition, I think to be honest the shok that dry the leaves with the babby pitchers was more for the couple of days spend on the plastic bag on my moms, than really the transport.

do you know how long the shipping time was? Because one extra day in shipping can do quite a number

I complete the order on monday, confirm on phone on tuesday... get shiped the wensday and i get it thursday arround 5 pm... then it go out and spend the thursday, friday and saturday on the "bag", I finally get it on the sunday...

My mon call me on friday and she let me know the fact the leaves with the pitchers was getting "hurt" on the bag and, the saturday she call to say it was looking like she was going to get dry, so that is why i think it really she get hurt on the bag more than on the shock to new house or UPS trip, because apart of that leaves its doing really good.

Why didn't she just keep it in the plastic dome it came with? It probably would have done much better, and the bag was probably drooping onto it, and with the condensation that was probably forming, rotting the leaves. And where did your mom put it? Near a window, under lights, in a dark closet that nobody ever goes into...

She remove the plastic cup to see the plant, the plastic cup was no complete fixed to fit on the pot, just covering to avoid the foam beens to push on the plant... she try to put it back but she have hard time trying to fit the leaves back again on to cup, so she opt for the bag, and she put the plant on her room... the room is an aceptable place.

After read your post abcat1993 "...the bag was probably drooping onto it, and with the condensation that was probably forming, rotting the leaves.", Im 100 percent sure that was the situation why the leaves get bad.

I have read a lot about how sensitive is the bellii on the roots... I was originaly going to get a small Ampullaria, but they call me to tell me the cuts of ampullaria get a little dry due a problem on the sprinkers so they was going to replace for a diferent one, and i choose the bellii.

Yea, that is how my looks, even with the name tag :-D, I think maybe your bellii is a sister or brother of my!!!!! I get this pic today, its from the newest leave... the one that looks "diferent" to the other two.

This is the one I think will develop a pitcher:

Cool, I'm pretty sure the one in my first pic will turn into a pitcher as well, cause' it's greener. I'll post some pictures when it's more developed. Until then...well...it's on...lol

Well has being a little since the original post, and my Belli have already 3 (almost 4) new leaves, again really green and looking good, no signals of weakness or nothing wrong, but no pitchers (just tendril and small round tip.... a picture of the situation will be more acurate than phisical description.
