Just wondering

My N.ventricosa 'red' got knocked off it's shelf and all of it's pitcher water came off, so I replaced the water. But I also noticed that ants are walking in the waxy zone, like it's nothing, so I have to blow the ants inside :-)) . Is the pitcher still effective? I don't want those ants exploiting my pitchers :p

As you blow some bugs in as they struggle it will trigger some digestive juices to come out since it senses trapped prey. It may not be as effective for a while, but it will still do some work for the plant.

xvart.
