Who grows N. Villosa

I'm not looking for a trade or a cuttings or anything here. I'm looking for info and maybe some pics. Plus I want to know how rare it is with people here.

I do but its VERY small. Not photograph worthy at all :(

Hi,
I find it a very slow grower. I've grown it for about three years now (from a one-inch diameter tc plant) and it's still only around six inches across. It lives in a terra in pure LFS, but it doesn't have a cooling system and it really only grows well for me in winter.

I'm steeling myself to repot it (into a mesh basket) when the cooler weather returns.
Cheers,
T.

Nice plant and moss. So it pretty much needs cool temps during the day too? I like that it's a slow grower because I'm kinda out of room already. I figure if my hamata is coming around this could be a nice one to have.

Very slow grower for me. Cool temperatures and colder temps are a must for me. I have had my plant since 2003.

I quit looking for it. It grows too slow for me. Then again, I grow N. Macrophylla... ;)
Dude, check out N. Macrophylla.

P.S> You can ask Andreas Wistuba in Germany about the Villosas. I'm sure he grows tons.

Hey Dave,
Thats looking very nice!
Mine is doing fine. Not worth a picture on here though. Only about the size of a quarter.
They are slow.

Thanks, Jeff.

I bought mine when it was the same size as a quarter almost 4 years ago.
