    how do you guys suggest I cool it down and it gets to about 70-68 degrees most of the time. It is rarely 75 degrees or up at night

    Mine takes warmer days 72-80F. That is with cool nights and high humidity. My nights are around 50-66F and humidity is always like 70-80%.

    LOl I would but parents say electric bill to high. Were on flex alert lol -_-

    DM how do you get your temps that low at night? or are they naturally like that?

    They are naturally that cool, I live in the Willamette Valley. Occasionally we have a warm night that doesn't cool down, the plant might tolerate the occasional warm night but I turn on my A/C then. Most nights are cool though so I can grow nepenthes that like it cooler like hamata and glabrata.

    Oh yea you live in Oregon. I visited there before. Its cool there even during the summer. Southern California has weird weather- sometimes its hot and sometimes its cold weird

    Oregon is only cool in certain parts of the state.

    Where I am (about 45 mins south of Salem) the temps get really high all day (90s) and most of the nights are like 50s - high 70s during the summer.

    It is way worse in eastern Oregon.

    It's really a bummer, cause growing darlingtonia here is tricky.
