Bella - This plant is from the seedgrown batch that BE released last year
the leaves on the younger plants remain red until the plant gets older. im not sure what you clasify as bright lighting, as the plant is about 10 inches from 4 20watt 24" fluorescent bulbs, 2 GE plant bulbs, 1 coolwhite, and 1 daylight(top rack)
To answer your question Indigo, the reason the pitchers dont color up right now as much as the leaves, is its age. the plant is probably only a year and a half old. about 2" in diameter.

the plant is making a leap into maturity if you ask me...as far as pitchers go
the plant is still small however. but the peristome on this pitcher is much more developed.
