whaa! yours looks better than mine :)
I cant believe how red it is- need to move mine in more light!
can I ask where you got it?

Lucky you, when I try to buy myself a birthday present my parents laugh. Nice plant, the pitchers seem to become very red on yours.

JEALOUS!!!

That is some awesome coloration there. Wow! Not fair!

Do let us know how it grows for you. :) Mine grows slower than molasses.

This is definitely my favorite plant that I have too. It just opened up its first pitcher with me, and I would definitely say it is a slow grower. I really like the coloration, yours looks almost exactly like mine. Well, I guess I would hope so, since they are probably the same clone. Here's some pics.

the newest pitcher is pale green but it appears that is due to it being in a shaded position.....have had that happen to other nep pitchers that get hidden alongside pots or under leaves......least im hoping thats the cause :D ..........my wife asked me what the box was when i bought it in the office today.....told her i bought myself an early birthday present.......she didnt ask what was in the box or anything......just said "OK"

N. burbidgeae can vary alot in color. Those that do get dark get darker as they age, the pitchers typically open up lighter color initially. Light intensity, temperatures etc will also affect coloration as Rattler mentioned.

They are not fast growing plants but once they get going they can make large increases in size with each leaf. Just takes a while for each new leaf ;>
