N. spectabilis North sumatra flowering

hey guys,
this is my first Nepenthes flower.
My plant is healthy, but its newish and just recently came out of shock.

I would really like to do a cross, but Just wondering if you think I should:
cut the flower to reduce stress (do people do this on neps?)
let it flower, but don't cross it.
or do you think that I could get some seed without seriously slowing down the plant?

SirKristoff said that the North Sumatra clones are all male, so if anyone wants to do a cross....

Thanks for the input and help!
Alec

I'll post pics once it opens up a little more

The borneo exotics clone is male, I assume if the plant you got is new than I can only think of one nursery selling this plant at a size large enough to flower, which would make it the BE clone, so yeah its a guy.
If you want to reduce stress, cut the flower as it emerges...otherwise, post pollen available for trade.

thanks Kris, I guess I will cut it and wait- would rather have this plant looking a little better that have seeds. For now I'll just watch how your spect's cross goes. Good luck!
