    Nep pics

    Nepenthes copelandii

Lowii x boschiana my personal favorite because it's almost black in person.

    hamata recently recovered

Predator snapped the vine almost completely through and tied it back up do you think it'll be good like that. and an attempted air cutting on top I took before I snapped it. you can also see the other part of the vine towards the bottom hopefully making a pitcher.

Note to self if I attempt air rooting, use a stake.

Just an idea without experience, try the sphagnum ball thing around the break to maintain humidity. Maybe even throw in rooting hormone. Perhaps you should go ahead and chop the first rooting attempt to lessen the strain on the vine.
    Good growing, Jack

I've never had success with air layering Nepenthes - probably because I've never tried it, lol.

If there is growth below the partial break, I'd just completely cut the top off - and send it to me - or root it like any cutting. It seems like when the stem breaks, the plant diverts energy to growth below the break. If there isn't any growth below the break, I'd leave it the way it is until you get some new leaves sprouting below the break.

    Goog looking plants!
A day without Nepenthes is like a day without sunshine
