Nepenthes Pics (with extras of course!)

Hey guys--I'm sorry I haven't been on here as much lately, but school has been keeping me busy. This is my last semester in high school and I have been *trying* to enjoy it while I can. I don't think I'm ready to be an adult just yet

But yeah; that's enough about me. Here are some plants which are looking particularly beautiful at the moment:

    N. clipeata x (clipeata x eymae)

    N. singalana Belirang

    N. jaquelineae invading hamata's pot and inflating its first pitcher for me!

    N. mikei basal with an adorable little pitcher

And here's a pitcher on the main plant

    N. ephippiata

    N. maxima 'dark'

    N. aristolochioides recovering sloooowly but steadily from the poor condition it was in when it first arrived in my care (it even has some cute little pitchers!)

    N. dubia
I've only had this one for about two months, but it has already put out two new pitchers

I saved the best for last...
    N. spectabilis North Sumatra

    Some new arrivals:

    N. boschiana seed grown
This one just arrived a few weeks ago, but I love the pitcher it came with.

    N. veitchii k seed grown from EP
This one isn't very impressive yet, but it's already showing a lot of promise in these juvenile pitchers IMO. I can't wait to see what it will look like as it matures!

And finally, some sundews that are doing well:

    D. dichrosepala

Two N. capensis 'alba' that I grew from seed and which are now flowering

    D. indica ‘pale pink flower’ seedlings

And (this is the last part, I promise) here are some of my fat little Lancelot (he's an axolotl for those who are curious and who missed out on my last picture thread):

This was him when he first arrived as a baby

And now he's all grown up

He got upgraded to a spacious thirty gallon tank this week

I was just curious as to the average life expectancy of that Axoloti. They are very cute.

Thank you Thez!! And you definitely shouldn't be jealous of me. Your collection is sooo drool worthy

Calypso: Axolotls live to be 15-20 years old on average and some live even longer (assuming they are well cared for). If all goes well, I will be middle aged by the time my cutie pie kicks the bucket.

Oh man Raven! Every single plant looks so terrific and Sir Lancelot is a Beast!

I'm totally jealous of your collection, indeed.

I am especially intrigued by the N. boschiana seed grown. I thought about getting one of those...

And the dubia looks awesome! clipeata x (clipeata x eymae) looks great too.

I ordered an N. singalana 'Bellirang'. Yours looks super nice, I bet mine won't grow as good as yours.

Thanks Dex for all the wonderful comments! I probably wouldn't have gotten the boschiana except that I had some store credit at one of the nurseries, and I figured I couldn't go wrong with such a beautiful species. The picture really doesn't do it justice, and I am curious to see how it will look as it matures. There seems to be a lot of variation in boschianas from different nurseries.

Oh and I almost forgot! My glabrata arrived yesterday! I will have to post some pics in this thread later this week.

awgaupp thanks! Mine just sat around doing nothing for more than six months before it finally decided to pitcher. It doesn't seem to mind low humidity, but it does appreciate a lot of light. I'm sure as long as you provide that then it will grow up to be just as pretty as mine.
