Heres some pics of the N. bical X rokko flower stalk when I last visited on the 16th. Not much noticed yet, but Bical crosses have a tendancy to be slow at first.

A broader look... if this works it should make a TON of seeds!

And on another note my S. alata has made seeds from pollen of S. X readii!! It has taken me years to reach this point with sarr hybrids! Hopefully the seedlings have enough color and vigor so I can name them something. Not a lot of seeds..but its better than nothing.

    Updates!!

The N. X redneck X N. X Aeneas pollination attempt has failed. The only pollination success on the Redneck female flower was Redneck X Redneck (partly sterile) . Still, I will be getting the failed pods incase theres a few survivors

My new N. thorelli X campunalata female arrived with a flower stalk! Pollen is being sent from south Africa of...

    N. X Briggisiana

    N. X Rebecca soper (basically a really black maxima)

    Photobucket

    [B]N. truncata x (talangensis x carunculata)/B]

    Photobucket

a quick note that these aren't the exact pics of the plants but what I could find...

This should make some interesting crosses!

    ^Sure will...thanks!!

    Updates

The N. X Aeneas pollen I sent to Peter D. Amato that pollinated N. Bical X Rokko has failed. Luckly, Peter is sending over some pollen for the female to try and see if this one will work out.

    Updates!!

the female thorelli X campunalata flower has been abandoned for the plants survival...a new flowering N. spathulata has been brought in for the pollinations...its got a lot of flower stalks on it!!

Big scrambling viner that has 4 stalks in total!

    Photobucket

theres the main opening stalk..some have been pollinated with N. lowii X ventricosa while I wait for the others to open...the green tip means they are receptive

    Photobucket

Even basal buddy wants to join in

    Photobucket

this ones still got a ways to go...

    Photobucket

And this one looks like it was pollinated with something at the shop...I wonder what??

    Photobucket

A big big BIG thanks to Tony for the plant...couldn't have done it without you (any idea what pollinated the stalk above??) !!

Now, some N. X predator pollen is being sent from Peter and Damon as the specimen is flowering right now.

If anyone has some pollen, please PM me and fast (50/50 seed split, theres more than enough flowers on it to fit). The flowers are just starting to open, so not a whole lot of time!
