Exams have just ended for me so I took the chance to visit my 'wholesale-distributor-for-BE-EP-nepenthes/private-nepenthes-grower/retailer-for-nepenthes' friend, Fauzi. He probably owns the largest collection of nepenthes in Malaysia (he has a nursery for god's sake! ) and I must say the beauty of his nepenthes collection and display is stunning. So amazing that in fact, I only managed to take a few pictures along the way for I was too engrossed in seeing every nepenthes! I'll probably visit him again next week and take more pictures. Meanwhile, enjoy what I managed to take!
P.S. mass, this one is for you as I promised 2months ago, I think
N xDyeriana in the masses....
And even more stuff.....
I couldn't remember this one but definitely raff or one of its hybrids.
N lowii x truncata 'wide peristome' EP
And the real deal, his very own 8 year old N sumatrana! As you can see, the pitcher is nearly as tall as the brick behind it.
N xDicksoniana (rafflesiana x veitchii) with my mother lurking behind
10 year old N bicalcarata. Sheer size and awesomeness that even my mother had to sit down and take a breather...
N rafflesiana 'Johor spotted'
N ampullaria. I'm terrible with amps so I'm guessing that this is the red form.
N x[(spectabilis x northiana) x boschiana] EP upper
N x[(ventricosa x sibuyanensis) x veitchii] EP upper
N x(thorelii x truncata) EP
Climbing typical N ampullaria.
And its basal rosette of pitchers.
N veitchii 'striped'
Apologies over any lousy quality pictures as some were taken just as I was about to leave in a few minutes. Enjoy!
