Mo' stripey goodness from N. spectabilis

Do the stripes stay or does the red eventually take over as the pitcher matures?
 
@Unstuck: the stripes stay unsullied by red (or any other pigment) for the life of the pitcher. (At least that is how it has behaved for me so far; I have had it less than a year) I bought this seedling specifically because the peristome didn't turn red with age.
 
Nice! :) How big is the pitcher?
 
@roko: that pitcher is about 8" tall. It is a seed grown plant and is still quite young. I expect this will eventually make much larger pitchers.
