Indoor terrarium in air conditioned room. White paper surrounding terrarium to keep light inside. 125watt CFL. 16 hour photoperiod. Temperature during day is between 85F and 90F. Night time temps are probably in 70s. Nepenthes ampullaria is growing great next to it.

    Is it growing in water?

I find that campanulata roots well in water/live sphagnum mixture

Here's that cutting, potted in LFS

This is the original root system with basals, growing in perlite/pumice/akadama mix

Wow that's an incredible campy hardy! Beautiful specimen. I may have to try campy with my conditions sometime.

Is it a seedgrown plant, or someone's clone (E.g. BE, MT, etc.)? Also, my sister lives near Taipei Small world..

    Thanks, Heli.

Thez, I got it as an unrooted cutting, from a vendor at the flower market, who sourced it from a hobbyist guy. That's about as much as I know about this guy's origin, lol.
Having said that, a guy here bought a campy from MT and it turned out to be a red clone, different from mine, I think (thicker peristome):

Then there's another guy who has a teeeny clone:

The clone that I have is the commonest of the red clones here, since a number of people grow the same thing
Cool! Is your sister a plant lover too? Small word indeed! ^^

Wow, nice! I guess I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for MT clones. My sister currently is working on tending her baby and her cat, so I'm not sure if she has any plants. I should ask though, because she likes going to the markets, and I imagine the flower markets there are gorgeous!

    Cool!
Yes, the Jianguo flower market in Taipei is huge. There are 120 something stalls selling all sorts of plants and supplies.

And here's a link to a campy thread in a Taiwanese forum. (Well since this is an appreciation thread, I thought it would be quite appropriate to link something similar )

It's all in Chinese, but if you leaf thru the 36 pages, there are lots of photos so you would see the dedication of the grower
