Out of all the 'toilet-bowl' Nepenthes, Tenuis is by far my favourite, gorgeous pitcher!
Kevnep - it's just a fairly unremarkable plant compared to what I expected from the parents;
The contrast in photography skill between this picture and the one above is ridiculous!

Is that a tenuis upper? Wow...

Indeed it is, and about to open. Update photo to follow....soon, I hope!

The N. (lowii X veitchii) X boschiana cross, on the other hand, exhibits quite a bit of veitchii influence with a much more dramatic/striped peristome, and I think these three together makes a truly winning combination, in a way the lowii X boschiana cross misses the mark (for my tastes).

Well maybe you have a point i to tell the truth prefer lowii x veitchii x boschiana too.
In your opinion paul what do you think the new grex with the red lowii x veitchii will be like? I have two of them, got them as extras and they seem fairly dark in comparison to some of the other grex. I love them and they are the sole reason i first ordered from ep

No idea, as I have not seen any of the seedlings yet, and well....how different from the previous versions of that cross are they likely to be? Better color maybe, but otherwise, similar.

If it's turning red and green it's probably Sphagnum molle.

Here are my Cephalotus seedlings, now one full year old. Ain't they cute?

Nice work with the Cephalotus seeds Paul. Care to share your method for germinating the seeds?

Ahh, thanks very much, Graham, for that info! Much appreciated.
