    Thanks Zu! It tends to fold back quite a bit over time but I just couldn't resist the color and timing and had to snap a shot.

    beautiful plants!!! that lowii x campanulata!! I can't wait to see the upper pitcher* how old is your Lowii x campanulata? is it a fast grower?

    IIRC I believe I have had this plant around 2 years now. It's always been a steady grower for me in intermediate/lowland conditions. I believe a lot of people have had great success with this hybrid so it seems to be fairly hardy.

    The first upper has opened. Not the largest of pitchers but still appealing IMO. The basals seem to have taken taken their toll on the main growth point.

    Awesome lowii x camp you got there! Are you sure it's an upper though? I though tendril attachment is in the back of the pitcher on uppers.

    Thanks Brokken. Is that true for all pitchers? I generally thought it was based on morphology as attachment can really be any where (front, back sides) as not all uppers vine. The plant is leaning to one side if that makes any difference.

    Still can't get over the truncata x ovata. Mine is growing like a weed now. About to reach the 8" mark..

    What kind of truncata is that?
