Pitcher of the Month June 2012

  • #21
N. ventricosa x talangensis bringing all the ants to the yard with its nepshake...

Looooool. :-O

@Uphwiz: Crazy dark pitcher. I would be surprised not to see that make it into the top three... :0o:

Now I remember why I wanted that cross! Beautiful pitcher upwhiz, I'd say you got lucky with that plant.

Oooh we don't see that one too often. Nice!

  • #25
Ah, the lavicola. 'Turned out very nice, indeed. 'Nicely shot, too.

Man I hadn't even gotten a chance to look through this thread yet, there are some super killer entries already!

But I am very happy with this plant and I've never entered it before so I might as well jump in the fray as well.

Hate to enter something that has already been entered, but seeing as I can't enter my jaw dropper until next contest...
And since pineapple had to put a comment with his...

How about ventricosa red x talangensis

Sort of had a toss-up between this and x trusmadiensis. Although it's a bit difficult to find a pitcher of decent size with glabrata, the following is still at least three times the size of all the others on the plant:

That is the CUTEST glabby I've EVER seen. Want.

That's a fat glabrata!
Of course my lavicola just opened a new pitcher....

The competition got super rough, super quick.

Jeremiah, I love that species.
