Getting bleached out by the sun can actually look really nice! Reminds me of alba uppers, but it's just a plain old Ventricosa upper pitcher grown in full sun.
I almost picked up another one at the NECPS plant show, too. Went for a 'Terpsichore' instead.
Truncata x Ephippiata (Kalimantan): this guy did not want to budge for 3 months, then for two months it just put out two leaves, and now I finally get to see what the pitchers look like!
also looks like the end of intermediate pitchers, notice the one last wing
teeth and hair!
I purchased this little guy in January and refrigerated it until February:
Didn't really know what I was doing (my first VFTs) and had it in way too little light for much of the year, but read a lot, and since I moved it out into full sun... growth has been pretty good ;-) ;-)
The traps are all about one and a half inches wide.
Can't wait to see how well it does next year!!!
Happy Halloween everybody!
