I had such a wonderful time on the tour and got to reconnect and meet some great people. I big thanks goes out to Alastair for showing us such a great time. I have added over 500 photos to my site but here are a few.

The photos are stunning, thanks for posting these. The dark attenboroughii clones are amazing, I love the variability in the species.

    Amazing trip and pics!

That new orchid has leaves unlike any I've ever seen. Do you have anymore shots of the plant and blooms you can link me to?

Jeremiah you have always been a source of inspiration and jealousy for me. This thread has not changed that whatsoever.

Thank you for sharing. That species of orchid is awesome, yet amazingly familiar as it is obviously from the same complex (even though I know nothing and a half about orchid taxonomy) as the small temperate species I am familiar with that grow in Southeast Alaska, the twayblades, I believe is their common name. Genus Listera.

I don't know. Again, as I said, I know very little about orchids. Just a layman's observation.

Did John have any near death experiences on this trip? Hahaha. That guy almost died a couple of times on our Roraima trip. Fell backwards and there was a rock spike 2 inches from his head. Slipped on Cyanobacteria, almost fell off cliff... XD

Amazing photos as always. Amazing to see variation in attenboroughii. Thanks so much for sharing!

Here was one other new orchid (Stigmatodactylus) species we discovered. I'll see if I can get some more orchid photos posted.

Photo by Alastair soon to be named.

Here was another orchid that we are unsure what species it is.

I can see John and cliffs might not go well together. I had a chance to spend a few weeks with him in Western Australia a few year back and we had a blast. These weren't what I would call easy climbs but he did well. John Yates (The other John) got pretty sick up on Mt. Tambuyukon but he did make it down under his own power.
