I have lowered the temp to 76F and sprayed the sprouts with a solution of 1/8 strength Maxsea and a drop of Superthrive.

Looking good Don! Mine are just starting to work on their first true leaves. How come you sprayed the plants already? I cant imagine that their root systems are developed enough to absorb the nutrients. Unless you are using it as a foliar spray?

I mist them lightly to foliar feed. I figure with their first pitchers out, they should get some nutrients. It's been almost a week and I have not seen any signs of leaf burn.

ah nice, I have some seaweed fertilizer so when the seedlings make their first true leaves I'll try it out. They seem to be growing very quickly. They look promising!

When everyone was having trouble keeping their attenboroughii seedlings alive in 2007/2008, I recall Sockhom fertilized his as soon as the first traps appeared to help them along. He did not mention how he did it though.

I think those seeds were bad or old causing people to have issues with them. I can imagine a small amount of seaweed fertilizer would be a good booster, I gave my larger dubia seedlings some seaweed ferts a little while ago but it hasn't been long enough for any improvement to show. They have been growing very slowly for the past 7 months. I also have some nigra seedlings which I will try ferting as well, hopefully we will see some fast growth from them.

I have a total of 7 germinated and 3 of them have left the seed shells! I left the pot in about an inch of standing water while I was away in Spain and they seem to have liked it.
