Out of all my Neps my rafflesiana does seem to be the hardiest one. I don't know much about nepenthes and I just try to keep my lows humid and warm and give my highs cool at night. I've had quite a few incidents that have set my plants back. Mostly from my going on vacation and my friend didn't take care of them like I asked, but out of all my nepenthes my raffesiana never dropped its pitchers. I was wondering about the humidity. Id like to make this more of a window sill plant but here in Kansas its not very humid. Whats the lowest humidity these can tolerate and still grow well?

They'll probably be ready to be chopped up by next year. We only have that one pitcher on the giants as of now, but that really tall cutting is trying to explore all corners of the greenhouse. The laminas are so long! Depending on where I am in the Spring I'm going to be giving them some special treatment to speed up their already fast growth.

After looking at photo comparisons, the last one that I posted looks to be be88.

Here's a young giant clone 88. As you can see, even the leaves are red on this one...

appreciate it. the pitcher is a little small for the size of the plant but i suspect the new one it is working on will be much larger.
