I don't have a f*%&^ clue. Seriously. Everything is in a controlled environment, perhaps that is it. Well, except for my inability to leave them alone. I don't think they like being flipped over and around every day for my inspections. Hahah..So far only one seed in every batch has sprouted, the others are either stragglers or could not cut the mustard. They have been through a lot of transfers. The seeds in #1 and in regular germination, have been picked, rewashed, resown - 3x. The seeds in #2, only once. Thank god...... Still that is less work than the regular cells I play with. If anything, I think DonH is sending his prayers to help my seeds germinate

    Nepenthes Glabrata
    Sowed on 12/8/12 on 1/5 MS + 1x Vits+ 3% sucrose+ 1mg/L BAP ph 5.6; first germination on 12/29/12

This container was in the back of the incubator which does not get my daily inspection. This was only because I signed off most of the containers in the back of the incubator, as these are seeds procured from an ebay seller. I was happy that there is at least one viable seed. The seeds from the same batch sowed in vivo have no signs of germination yet.

Opps had to edit that. Yeah, I added 1mg/L BAP to all the ebay seeds. I would have tried 0.5mg/L as well, as there were plenty of seeds, but I am running out of space. If the vessels are stacked 2 high, the top vessel temperature would be 85-87F. A little high I think. My average vessel temperature is 79F which explains the amount of condensation on the top and sides. The condensation does inhibit and scatter the light so I might do some musical chairs once in a while. I can't help myself.

Out of all the seeds, the maxima seeds looked the freshest. But I guess that doesn't mean a hoot.

    What did you add?

One day, I will have a massive giveaway.

    Pokie,

You beat me by about five days on the N. attenboroughii; though I kept mine in obscurity (darkness) for ten days and at highland temperatures. Continued congratulations with your jello . . .

She beat me by 2 weeks in vitro but I beat her by 2 weeks in vivo.
