Can a nep eat ants without any harm done to them(the plant)?

Sure -- many of my intermediate plants, kept outside, seem to specialize in them; and, during the Summer, there are continuous ant trails along the leaves . . .

Just curious - why would you think ants would be harmful?

cant remember there was one nep that had symbiotic relationship with ants also. made a space in the pitcher for them to live in.

Camponotus schmitz, I believe; the ant, that is . . .

Camponotus are the carpenter ants in most places. Florida I saw one on all the pond apple trees/fruits...

Thanks people!
