For my grow area project, I have walled off a section of my basement about 10' x 10' and painted all the walls with liquid rubber and set up some bench top versions of the automated watering systems and lights that I use in my highland tank. The nightime temp drop in the room will be maintained with an automated outside ventilation duct and backup air conditioner for the hottest months of the year. I plan to maintain about 75% humidity and temps suitable for a wide range of intermediate and hybrid nepenthes. This will free up a lot of space in my more tightly controlled highland tank, and also help my highland tank maintain its colder nighttime drop. The highland tank is inside this room also. In the future I plan to add a lowland chamber and a smaller ultra highland chamber (basically just for growing villosa).
