Very nice plant, Marc!

Here's mine for this month - N. truncata X spectabilis:

Paul, why have we never seen this plant before? :hail:

Perhaps you just haven't noticed.....I've posted photos of this several times over the past 18 months. This is the first genuinely monster pitcher its produced, though :)

WOW! I'm not a huge fan of truncata hybrids, but I love the slender (but by no means small) look of the pitcher body. And the peristome is killer! I'd put that under the "must have" list! Red lowii's plant is awesome too, but Paul, you need to give other people a chance dude... :-O

Whoa, Paul, what do you feed that bad boy? (or girl???) Striping on the peristome is spectacular, I must say. Love the background, too...shame I'm on the other side of the country...

I don't yet know its gender. It's a seed grown individual; one of only a couple of plants I acquired off fleabay about 20 months ago.
I have been using MaxSea on my Nepenthes for 10 months now, and the results have been incredible. Nothing else has come close.

How do you apply the MaxSea Paul? Drench the roots w a watering can?

Pretty much, yep. Although I mix it up in advance in gallon water bottles from the supermarket, which I keep specifically for this task. It takes about 15 - 18 gallons when I do the fertilizing. It happens once a month, with a dilution rate of 1/2 tsp per gallon of RO water.

WOW! 15-18 gallons!
