this is my eddie about a month and a half ago

and then here you can see the growth. not sure exactly when this was taken

a few weeks ago

others on here have much more mature plants but these are the pics i have to share :)

Just snapped some pics, I was growing it with day temps in the 80s and nights in the 60s but recently made a new setup where it gets day temps in the mid 70s and nights in the mid 50s. It is also now getting higher light levels which is why the older leaves look all blotched with red.

Travis, four months ago wasn't very long after you received the plant. How does it look now?

Looks great.. just popped a new pitcher today even. But my setup is a p.i.t.a to get in and out of, so no new pics lately.
Kind of low maintenance, hands off growing here now. The grow box and timers do all the work for me..
It's 2.5ft below 8 T5HO's Wrazik.

Could you post a current photo? I'm curious to see how they're all coming along.

Mat, that critter is terrific! Probably the best of the most recent release I've seen. Keep up the amazing work!

Mat, are you using an inorganic media?

Mat, are you using an inorganic media?

The media is a pretty standard highland mix of sphagnum, perlite, orchid bark (if I remember correctly), and a bit of laterite. The edwardsiana are in a location that stays pretty humid, so I decided to tear out most of the sphagnum top layer and replace it with laterite, which should leech into the soil for the benefit of the plants and prevent any fungus gnats from turning it into a daycare center (I've noticed some flying around recently). I've done the same thing with other highlanders that grow in these ultramafic clays, such as attenboroughii, macrophylla, deaniana, villosa, peltata, etc., and have noticed an improvement in growth that seems to be exhibited by thicker petioles and darker lamina.

Mato and DonH you guys are definitely growing them well! I've noticed some of the seed grown Eddie's have a lighter coloration than the wistuba clone, is this color typical of younger/smaller plants or do you think it's just one of those seed grown variations thing?
