    Nepenthes ventricosa x hamata

Since early Spring this has become the fastest growing plant I have had to date. Not sure why it took a year to recover from frozen above ground to the one in the pictures but I'm happy to see it. Not the best hamata hybrid but very nice and I don't see a lot of them around for sale.

Glad to see it has recovered. Looked pretty bad on the first picture.
Looking for N. Campanulata hybrids. Also would like to grow some nepenthes from seed. Growlist/pic thread: http://www.terraforums.com/forums/sh...-Pete-s-plants

The first pic reminds me of how one of my plants arrived. Arrived minus more than half the leaves it started out with and minus 1 growth point.
Come to me flies and crawling bugs. This plant wants to give you great big hugs
    Aren't I pretty, don't I smell good? I'd come to you if I could
But I can't so you must come to me, I'm sure we will get along splendidly

I almost tossed it when it arrived but didn't see anymore for sale anywhere so waited it out and four new growth points appeared. I selected the lowest one and went with that. It's growing like crazy producing a pitcher per week. It was placed into a larger container this week which will probably slow the growth down some. My luck with hamata's has been poor so I'm sticking with the hybrids.

Wow, it fully completes pitchers in just 1 week?

Those hamata hybrids sure can take the cold. I saw somewhere else someone with another hamata hybrid had his (hers?) frozen completely and it recovered. I was shocked.

Mine looks awful and I'm hoping for a recovery it took a hit during the power outage and ice storm last year and it was growing nice. Its still green but I have to hope for a basal. No more growth points left and it had four at one point. I like this hybrid. Its killer when larger.
