    N.(spathulata x aristolochioides) x lowii from EP

I really like this Nepenthes hybrid from EP. I like the stripe peristome (N. lowii influence), dark pitcher and plant is small. The pitcher is as big as the plant, very compact due to the N. aristolochioides in its background. It does have a few hairs under the lid.

I had this plant and gave it away as soon as I saw what the upper pitchers looked like.

I don't think I photographed the uppers - wasn't much to see; plain green blobs.

edit: I checked. No photos of the uppers. They were half the size of the lowers and shapeless green pickles. Totally uninteresting.

Well, they are seed grown, so there's plenty of opportunity for variability. I just got a dud is all.
