LETs SEE YOUR HAMATA's! (photo thread)

I figured their is one thing many of us have in common on this forum and its .....HAMATAS!!

Many may have them and many may not, but reguardless EVERYONE WANTS ONE! Maybe its their hairy little lids or their fang like perisome that look kinda like a dragons mouth or some mythical creature from story books..whatever it is the draw to have one of these is enough to drive a collector Insane!

So i figured id try making a photo thread for people to share their own HAMATA'S that they have in their own collections :-D
And we all can drool together at their hairy..fangy..goodness!

Ill start..just a wee thing At The Moment.. I'm sure theirs more impressive out their but still mighty spectacular at this age :)

The clear pots are AW, the black net pot is BE.

Nice colors on that N. hamata Kat do you have a photo of it potted? Also what are the origins TC or SG?

Carbon, love your N. hamata Town you got going on there. Do you notice any distinct differences between the BE or AW clones?

I never knew about these . . . such beautiful plants!
Can you suggest any that are suitable for indoor growing?
Either way, keep posting photos! :D

Yes, most people exclusively grow these indoors.

I no longer grow this plant, but this is an N. hamata I grew nearly ten years ago.

Beautiful! Great to know they can be grown indoors!

What are some commonly grown variants, color forms or hybrids? (And who has photos of the different types?) :pics:

Are there any that have smaller leaves and traps?

Check out this site for more pictures of N. hamata variants that are out there: Nepenthes hamata photos

They all tend to get fairly large in time from what I understand.

Heli, that's a beautiful Nepenthes ventricosa!!!

Here we go!! Was hoping this thread would stir up.

I beleive mine is TC but id have to check with my friend who sent it to me. I never really keep track of that stuff unless its been noted during a trade or purchase lol.

Its potted in Live sphagnum and perlite though I'm thinkingvto maybe put some peat in their next spring/summer. Mines indoors its too chilly on the sunporch/greenhouse right now.
I'll get a picture of it potted later on still at work at the moment :)
Everyone's hamata's look great i really like when their green like that heli, but they usually turn darker in stronger light unless its a cloned one i think(?!?)
