Have any of you ever tested the pitcher longevity of nepenthes, when the pitchers are separated from the plant? I am currently testing the length of time that a Ventricosa pitcher can stay fresh. So far, the tally is four days and the pitcher still look's like it did when I cut it. The lid hasn't even closed. Although, it seems to be sucking up water like crazy. As, I've been filling it up with water twice a day since the start. Mabey I could make it last even longer by giving it light and adding fertilizer to the water.
