Hi all,

I am new to this list and want to introduce myself first .
My name is Christian Klein and I live in Germany.
I collect C.P ,of all species ,now for 25 years.I have managed to find the one or other plant in this time .I am also interested in Ant Plants and Orchids(Dracula ,Bulbophyllum and Pleurothallis.
I am watching this forum for several months now and think that there are a lot of interesting things discussed in this time.
The other thing is that I will have a N.aristolochioides (male ) in the next weeks in flower .If there is anybody out there who has a female, or something interesting to put the pollen on ,please E-mail me.(no hybrids please)

Chris

Welcome Christian. That's wonderful you have a N. aristolochioides in bud. I hope you are able to find a female for making seeds!

Question

Wow! Hey Christian!

Really great to see you on this forum - welcome indeed! Having visited you recently I know what vast experience you have to offer by the way of growing skills. You have one of the best collections of Nepenthes in Europe, without doubt.

If you would like to send a very small amount of your N. aristolochiodes pollen for me to freeze, we should be able to do someting rather interesting with it over the next few months. It would be a hybrid, but certainly not a boring one

Hello Christian,

Welcome to the forum! It's a pleasure to see you here. Have
heard of your expertise, and look forward to your contributions
in future discussions.

BTW, congratulations on flowering N. aristolochioides! If you
don't mind me asking, how large is your flowering plant? I
have a specimen of this species which flowered last year
at a size of about 50 cm, and am simply trying to get an
idea of the size at which this species typically produces
flowers.

Best wishes,
Jeff Shafer
