Blah Geocities... been trying to see your picture for the past 2 hours but keep getting a message that data transfer limit has been exceeded. If I recall... others have said you cant link to geocities either.

You could make a PFT homepage and upload your images there!

ps.. I will keep trying to see your pic! hehe
Is that a Nepenthes in your pocket or you just happy to see me?

I uploaded it on my PFT account, and I used this tag:

[ IMG ]http://home.**********.com/trashcan/jeremiah_nep.jpg[ IMG ]
(without the four spaces)

As far as the plant, I honestly dunno. I only feel comfortable identifying plants that I have grown, and physically handled. That looks like several pictures of N.maxima that I have seen, but I would definitely wait for a more informed vote.

Looks like maxima or at least a hybrid with maxima. It is very hard to tell from the one picture which doesn't show leaf shape and other pitcher details. Maxima is used in alot of hybrids and is also pretty dominant in the offspring. So I would not go labeling it maxima at this point.

It looks as if it could be a cross between maxima and fusca.
