Thanks so much! I do try to keep them happy and work my best to cool them at night. In fact I've adopted Jeff's growing method, basement growing at night! My basement stays at a constant 50-48F and I am simply moving them down there over night. Eventually I hope to have a better plan and maybe grow some of the large highlanders down there soon since I have not yet setup/built the evaporative cooler in the greenhouse.

How old is the N. aristolochides (cant be bothered to make sure I spelled it right) is it a recent addition to the collection? What are the ages of the plants in the first photograph? All the others look good, N. vetchii looks very nice with that wide peristome.

Hey Vagabond, yes the N. aristolochioides is a very recent addition to my ultrahighland collection and it has been about 1 yr. out of TC from my main supplier.

The other plants in the terrarium photograph are all around the same age roughly, except N. hamata, N. lowii, N. burbidgeae, and N. rajah which are 2 or more years old.

Sweet N. Truncata pitcher. Can't wait for mine to get that big.

I can't wait for my n. truncata to get as big and beautiful as yours!

Expect a wait! N. truncata is a slow grower but does increase progressively larger with eachnew leaf produced. My plant was nearly 1 ft across when I bought it, it has now in 2 years it has grown to be 2 ft. across. The leaves are like medival shields knights would carry! Enormous blunt circular leaves. It should flower sometime, it is mature and capable of doing so. Hopefully I will get much better results in the greenhouse this sping.
