It's certainly one of the best hamatas I've ever seen. Does it get any darker than that, or does it stay that color?

It does darken to a red/brown more like other hamatas (I think! I need to check), but it is certainly pink at that stage (new pitcher a week old)! I think its wonderful how much hamata and tentaculata share an overall aesthetic.

I love the unopened hamata picture near the beginning of this page. It looks like a straggly (albeit flamboyant) old man with the random hairs only to open up to an "OMG it's going to eat me" pitcher lol.
