Trent,

Well the sun is warmer now and certainly heats the greenhouse during the day but yes the gas bill is painful when the temps are -30 and the sun doesn't shine.. When I build a new setup INSULATION will be priority.

Joachim,
Thanks for the compliment. Of course you don't see the plants that I manage to kill hehe.

I can't add much on the Cephalotus.. far from my knowledge base. They shouldn't be mislabelled but stranger things have happened.

The red blotching I think is indeed from too cold temperature. With the large variety I have it is difficult to keep them all happy all the time. There are certainly alot of microclimates as Trent mentioned.

Is that a Nepenthes in your pocket or you just happy to see me?

I have to build a new greenhouse this year. The snow and wind leveled mine. But mine didn't look like these.

Thanks Nep G

The pictures are nice but the real thing is so much better. The thing is, I would just spend way too much money if I were to visit.

Thats why I wean myself to every 2 months at the least. It allows me to rustle up some more cash for certain new plants Tony gets in hehe.
